Our Story

DRIFT ACTIVE started with a simple frustration: good socks are impossible to find.

I'm Luke — a primary school teacher and lifelong cricketer from the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. Between long days on my feet in the classroom, early mornings at the beach and weekends playing sport, I've worn out more socks than I can count. The cheap ones bunched, slipped, and fell apart. The "performance" ones cost a fortune and still didn't deliver. I kept thinking someone should just make a sock that gets the details right.

Eventually I decided that someone would be me.

DRIFT ACTIVE is built on a belief that the small things matter. A heel tab that actually protects your Achilles. Arch support that holds through a full day. Bamboo charcoal in the zones that work hardest, so your feet stay fresh from the first over to the last. No gimmicks — just thoughtful, hard-wearing socks made for people who move.

Every pair is designed here in the Northern Rivers and built to a standard I'd happily wear myself, every day, in the classroom and on the field. Because that's exactly what I do.
